Hope Home

The Hope Home. Proudly partnering to build a better New Zealand.

Fowler Homes have proudly partnered with Gumboot Friday and the I Am Hope Foundation to build a home in Queenstown and Hurford’s are proud to have jumped on board and provide our support.

The home will be auctioned in October 2024, with 100% of the profits going direct to Mike King’s I Am Hope Foundation. The Foundation will use this money to continue to provide free counselling and support for young people 25 years and under around Aotearoa!

Hurford’s are beyond proud to be apart of this project, we have donated 95m2 of Genuine Oak timber flooring and are partnering with JB Timber Floors & Just Timber Floors who will be donating their time for the flooring installation. If you want to see how you can make a difference also or would like to make a donation, click here.

Youth mental health in New Zealand is deteriorating as the demand for mental health services and support skyrockets. Over the past decade, I Am Hope has engaged with more than 300,000 children in schools across New Zealand with initiatives including tailoring books for the youngest demographic in primary schools.

Its renowned Gumboot Friday free counselling service has experienced a surge of over 500% in the last two years alone. Currently, the platform supports more than 3,400 free sessions each month, totalling $510,000.
