Founded in 1932 Hurford’s is a third generation family business, strongly dedicated to the native hardwood timber industry and celebrating over 90 years of trade.
Hurford’s have purchased over 5,000 hectares of land and have commenced a planting program that will see more than 25,000 new plantation eucalypt saplings established each year.
Hurford’s have access to a variety of markets all over the world. We have international branches based in Australia, North America and France.
Our distribution centre is located in close proximity to the port at Mt Maunganui, and our showroom in Albany, Auckland. Hurford’s are able to efficiently service the whole of New Zealand.
Strong relationships forged over the decades with producers both domestically and internationally allow Hurford’s to source an impressive variety of native and exotic specialty timbers.
