Trex® Transcend Lineage

Since 1996, Trex® has invented, defined, and perfected the composite deck category with a lineup of low maintenance, high performance, eco-friendly decking products that have fundamentally changed the way we live outdoors.  Trex® is the world’s largest manufacturer of wood plastic composite decking, with fewer ongoing maintenance requirements than timber and its heat-mitigating technology, the Trex Lineage range is their coolest decking yet.*

Product Information

Trex® Transcend Lineage™ is available in 5 on trend colours featuring refined timber grains that add beauty and luxury to any outdoor space. Trex® Composite Decking boards are high performance, they wont rot, warp or splinter and require a lot less maintenance than traditional timber decking boards. With an innovative blend of reclaimed sawdust and plastic film otherwise destined for landfill, Trex® decking boards are manufactured using less waste and a smaller environmental footprint, a truly sustainable decking option with a longer lifespan. All backed by a 50 Year Limited Residential Fade & Stain Warranty, Trex® is the long term investment you never knew you needed.

Installation of Trex Composite Decking
It is important to note that Trex Composite Decking is not to be laid the same as a traditional timber deck. Unlike timber decking, composite decking shrinks & expands at the cut ends not width ways, hence breaker boards are required and expansion gaps at the ends. Please see our installation guide for a detailed breakdown on the construction of a Trex deck.

Cooler Under the Sun

Reflects the sun and your sense of style. Transcend Lineage is engineered to keep your deck cooler, even on the hottest days. *Although Trex Transcend Lineage is designed to be cooler than most other composite decking products of a similar color, on a hot sunny day, it will get hot. On hot days, care should be taken to avoid extended contact between exposed skin and the deck surface, especially with young children and those with special needs.

Sustainability

Trex Transcend Lineage decking is part of Trex’s overarching commitment to sustainability and innovation. Trex transforms recycled plastic film and reclaimed wood into beautiful outdoor decking products. Our composite decking is made primarily from a blend of 95% recycled and reclaimed raw materials, providing long-lasting quality and style. Thirty-plus years of experience have helped Trex hone their supply chain and proprietary process for converting discarded plastic film and wood into high value, long-lasting decking. The result? A high-performance, eco-friendly selection of unique products.
