Consistent in quality and structural stability, Australian Native Herringbone is constructed using a low shrinkage, ecofriendly Hevea core and a tough Australian hardwood lamella.

Utilising the latest in environmentally friendly UV coatings, the 6 coat system delivers a floor finish similar to a stylish oiled floor but with the durability and protection a UV lacquer offers. Australian Native Herringbone engineered flooring provides a wow factor for any interior space.

Installing Australian Native Herringbone requires a high level of skill and Hurford’s recommend only qualified tradespeople with the relevant skill levels undertake the installation.

End Matched

WOOD ELEMENTS end-match profile has a micro bevel edge designed to encourage water to drain away from the join. End matching the product means the boards can be fixed mid cavity batten, eliminating the need to dock and create volumes of waste that previously would have been thrown away.

Automatic Spacing System

This allows expansion to be placed between the boards, which is automatic and doesn’t require any special tools or spacers to get right. This unique design feature takes out any pressure caused if the boards expand due to absorption of moisture.
WOOD ELEMENTS timber is air dried for up to 12 months to bring the moisture content down to “fibre” saturation. From this point the timber is kiln dried. This produces a finished product with a very narrow moisture variation.

Straight Line Dressed

Hurfords uses a process to straighten boards post drying to ensure the boards are straight and stay straight. This ensures that WOOD ELEMENTS can be easily installed and all shadowlines remain as they have been designed – straight.
